6.0 – Annual CERT Refresher – October 20th (2012)

Each year the Ventura County Fire Department hosts an annual CERT Refresher for all CERT Groups within Ventura County.

Operation CERT: Neighborhood Ready
Saturday, October 20th 0800-1700 hours

Who: CERT Graduates (individuals who have completed all seven CERT training modules AND have received a CERT certificate).
Goal: To bring together CERT graduates, CERT instructors and other disaster preparedness partners for the purpose of practicing some of the important skills learned during CERT training, (i.e. patient bandaging, splinting, lifts, carries and treatment).
Where: Ventura County Fire Department, Regional Training Center. 102 Durley Avenue, Camarillo.

This is a free training open to all CERT graduates within Ventura County. Event volunteers and disaster victims are needed (children okay).
